You’ll find anything from simple to elegant, in cuts you can use to layer or use along. On offer are a variety of on-trend fabrics, including exclusive patterns and styles. You can choose from pleated, non-pleated, and Ripplefold™ styles, as well as numerous hardware options and custom finishes to round out and fully customize your final look.

A Variety of Options

Hunter Douglas offers the option of adding a features to enhance your drapery or side panels, including decorative trim such as cords, tapes, or fringes. You can also add coordinating fabric tiebacks to finish the look. For ways to enhance light blocking, add tailored lining to the fabric. And to create a coordinated look throughout the room, choose fabric by the yard for custom pillows and more.

Additional Benefits

Drapery and side panels will bring depth and dimension to the window, impacting the entire look of the room. You also find that they can actually seem to resize the space, depending on how you hang them. For example, putting the drapery rod close to the ceiling will make the room look taller. And installing the mounting brackets about four to six inches outside of the window frame will allow you to fully open the drapery, which will make the window appear wider. The length of the drapery will impact the room as well: if the drapery puddles on the floor or hangs just above it, the room will seem longer. Finally, adding valances or cornices will draw the eye upward, creating a sense of extra height while also covering the drapery rod.
