About NewStyle Hybrid Shutters

Introducing SoftClose™ Louvers
One frequent complaint about shutters is that people find it difficult to get the louvers to a certain angle—especially with more than one set of shutters in a room. On the NewStyle Hybrid Shutter, Hunter Douglas offers SoftClose Louvers, which feature a soft closing mechanism as well as Quick Align™ preset louver positions, so you can adjust, align, and close the shutters with ease. NewStyle shutters’ wood composite material is co-extruded with a polypropylene coating that helps the product be extra durable. You can choose a couple of finishes: Hunter Douglas’s proprietary Finetech® Finish replicates the look of solid wood on all colors. And the grain-like UltraGrain™ finish looks just like genuine wood.
